Skala Sikamias

Skala Sikamias could say somebody that is one of the most beautiful places on the island, as the landscape is just magical. At the end of the small fishing port, on a rock, the small church of "Panagia Gorgona” (Madonna the Mermaid) is built. The church is also known as "Panagia Ton Psaradon" (Madonna of the Fishermen) and has been an inspiration for writers and painters.

Shaped in a semicircle, traditional taverns can be found around the harbor, which sell fresh fishes. A more romantic setting would be pretty hard to find.
